Ecclesiastes 9:11

โ€œI have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all.โ€

How far do you plan to go in life? What is holding you back? I personally believe the thing that holds us back is our closed-mindedness to doing new and far more challenging things. One of the things we focus on much is the SIZE of the project and the rewards that follow completion. I have found that the biggest and greatest – most undetected rewards are hidden in the small things – the tasks we tend to overlook. Working out for an hour with extreme routines seems to be more attractive to enthusiasts than working out for 20-30 mins with less extreme movements. Both give you the same results, but only one trains you correctly for long haul living. The other – slow burnout. Thereโ€™s nothing wrong with it, but I have found my peace in taking things slowly, going at my own pace, cutting out all of the nonsense (the EXTRA) and just enjoying me for me and celebrating my efforts for what they are. Life seems to balance out when we stop living like the โ€œhareโ€ and living more like the tortoise. WE GET WHERE WEโ€™RE GOING, EVENTUALLY, IF WE KEEP OUR FOCUS ON GOD AND ALL THE RIGHT THINGS FOR US.

โ€œGod gave us the gift of life; it is up to us to give ourselves the gift of living well.โ€ Voltaire

โ€œThe true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination.โ€ Albert Einstein

โ€œNothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.โ€ Calvin Coolidge

โ€œWe must let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us.โ€ Joseph Campbell

โ€œHappiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present.โ€ Jim Rohn

โ€œDo not take life too seriously. You will never get out of it alive. Elbert Hubbard

โ€œWe are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves.โ€ Buddha (I do not subscribe to the practice of Buddhism, however, these words ring true and tell of faithfulness in our journeys if we do choose to remain on our paths. Be wiser today than you were yesterday – think outside your box) ๐Ÿ˜ God gives us wisdom from on high. His wisdom is all around us and in us. All we need do is ask of Him – He will teach us how to use the power of His wisdom, wisely. It always benefits us when we do things GODโ€™S WAY. โค๏ธ

Become WISE in Christ Jesus not in your abilities and past accomplishments. Those things are meaningless and fade away in time.
